Product Description
Mello stands at the center of this Death Note round rug, a half-unwrapped chocolate bar raised to his mouth and a fur-collared black jacket hanging off his shoulders. The artwork is laid out for the circle: a cream field wound with chocolate-brown ribbons, rosary beads and fleur-de-lis, closed in by a dark border of crosses and foil-wrapped bars.
A circle suits a character who never sits still. Under a desk the 80 to 100 cm sizes work as a chair mat that your chair glides across without catching a corner, and beside a bed the same curve softens the hard lines of a frame and nightstand.
The Design: Chocolate and Rosaries
Think of an old chocolatier's box lid redrawn in manga ink. Mello's linework is sharp and dark, while everything around him is warm: cream, espresso, caramel gold and a touch of bone white. Four motorcycles sit on the diagonals, two chess kings flank his shoulders, and tilted chocolate bars repeat around the center like the bars of a wrought-iron gate. Small eight-point stars fill the gaps between them.
The mood is gothic but sweet, which is exactly the contradiction this character lives in. For more of the series, look through the Death Note rugs; this piece is the one built around ornament and chocolate.

The round cut keeps the whole border visible from any angle, so the crosses and chocolate bars frame him whichever side you walk in from. The soft plush low-pile surface feels gentle underfoot, and the dye-sublimation print sets the colors into the fibers, which keeps the dark browns deep and the cream clean. Six diameters are available, from 80 cm (31.5″) to 180 cm (70.9″): 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm. Choose 80 to 100 cm under a desk chair or beside a bed, where the central portrait stays in view. Step up to 120 to 140 cm for a reading nook or a quiet corner of a bedroom. Take 160 to 180 cm when you want Mello at the center of a seating area.
Two levels are offered. Standart Level is solid everyday quality for desks, bedsides and hallways. Premium Level has a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing, a good call for a spot that sees daily traffic.
