My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

In Detail
Product Description
This funny cat art mouse pad drops a wide-eyed black cat into the foreground of a hazy orange harbor at dawn, with misty docks and a small glowing sun painted in loose impressionist strokes behind it. Stretched out as a funny cat art desk mat, the scene keeps its joke intact: round yellow eyes up front, a soft orange-and-teal sunrise everywhere else.
Pick it if you like paintings that refuse to take themselves too seriously. Cat owners, art students with a sense of humor and anyone who wants a funny cat art desk mat that adds warmth and a grin at the same time will feel right at home with it.
Why this funny cat art mouse pad works
Harbors at sunrise were a favorite subject for nineteenth-century painters, who loved how mist, water and early light melt into each other. This parody keeps that dreamy atmosphere and then interrupts it with a flat, startled cartoon cat, so classic brushwork and modern comedy share one frame. Your gaze lands on those eyes first and only afterward wanders off toward the docks. If witty takes on painting appeal to you, browse our artwork mouse pads and desk mats for more canvases reworked for the desk.
Picking a funny cat art desk mat size
- S (11.8″ × 15.7″): a mouse-only spot that keeps the cat's face front and center.
- XL and XXL (up to 23.6″ × 35.4″): keyboard and mouse together, with the harbor spread wide.
- XXXXL (23.6″ × 47.2″): covers most of a standard desk from edge to edge.
- Chair mats (from 31.5″ × 47.2″): made to sit under a rolling chair on hard floors.
Built for long sessions
The top is a micro-woven polyester cloth that lets optical and laser mice slide smoothly. Underneath, 3 mm of natural rubber grips the desk so nothing shifts, and precision-stitched edges keep the border from fraying. The HD print resists fading, so the sunrise orange on this funny cat art mouse pad holds its glow.
For small spills, wipe the spot with a damp cloth. A deeper clean can go through a gentle machine cycle in cold or lukewarm water with mild detergent; afterward, lay it flat to air dry. Skip bleach and the dryer, and never iron the printed side. Each mat is made to order, produced in 1–3 business days and shipped within 2–5 business days.
Want more patterns without a punchline? Our decorative mouse pads cover marble, florals and more, and the warm palette here also pairs nicely with our abstract and modern rugs for the floor.
