My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our custom area rugs.
Not at all! Both our Standard and Premium rugs feature anti-slip backing that grips securely on any surface. The Standard has faux leather backing, while the Premium uses natural cotton—both designed to stay put on hardwood, tile, laminate, or carpet.
Yes! Our rugs are hand-washable with cold water and mild detergent. For best results, gently spot clean with a damp cloth for small messes. Air dry flat—avoid machine washing to preserve the print quality and backing integrity.
Nope! We use advanced HD sublimation printing technology that bonds the ink directly into the fibers. Your design stays vibrant and won't crack, peel, or fade with regular use. It's also UV-resistant to handle everyday light exposure.
Great news—our rugs work beautifully on virtually any floor type! Hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, concrete, even low-pile carpet. The non-slip backing keeps everything secure without scratching or damaging your floors.
The main difference is in the surface texture. Standard Level features a shiny velvet fabric on top—smooth, lustrous, and perfect for showcasing vibrant prints. Premium Level has a soft plush surface that feels incredibly cozy underfoot. Both have the same quality backing and durability, it's all about your texture preference!
We ship worldwide! Most orders are produced within 1-3 business days and delivered in 5-12 days depending on your location. You'll receive tracking info via email so you can follow your rug's journey.
In Detail
Product Description
That buck-toothed grin. Mater's front and center — rust spots, tow hook, dented fenders, green eyes wide open — sitting inside a brown and cream medallion that looks as weathered as he does. Coiled tow ropes fill the corners. Bronze gears and spare tires line the sides. "Tow Mater" signs are stamped in rusty metal lettering at the top and bottom. The scrollwork is warm brown and sage green with traditional floral patterns that feel like vintage country decor. The whole rug has a patina — like it's been in a garage for years. On purpose. Available as an area rug and chair mat in several sizes, and he parks perfectly next to our Lightning McQueen rugs.
Rusty Colors, New Rug
Dye-sublimation bonds the browns, creams, and greens into the fiber. The rust effect is printed, not actual wear — the colors stay locked in. No fading or peeling. Anti-slip base grips any floor. Standard velvet (5mm) is smooth and easy to clean. Premium plush (7mm) adds cushion. Both handle heavy traffic. Mater may be rusty, but this rug isn't.
Mater Belongs Everywhere
The warm brown palette works in bedrooms, playrooms, hallways, and even family rooms. The XXL (5×7 ft) anchors a space. The XL (4×6 ft) sits beside a bed or play table. Light wood furniture and cream walls let the brown tones feel cozy, not dark. The sage green accents add just enough color. Warm lighting brings out the gear and rope details. Of all our cartoon rugs, this one has the most rust and the biggest grin.
For the Kid Who Loves the Best Friend
Mater's the heart of the movie. The loyal, funny, slightly chaotic best friend. If your kid quotes Mater more than McQueen, this is their rug. It's warmer, funnier, and way more lovable than the racing designs.
Mater Tows Into Other Products
This Tow Mater design is also available as a mouse pad in 8 sizes. To match the desk to the floor, pair it with one of our Lightning McQueen mouse pads and let the two friends ride side by side. Got a custom design idea? Message us — we'll make it happen.
