My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our custom area rugs.
Not at all! Both our Standard and Premium rugs feature anti-slip backing that grips securely on any surface. The Standard has faux leather backing, while the Premium uses natural cotton—both designed to stay put on hardwood, tile, laminate, or carpet.
Yes! Our rugs are hand-washable with cold water and mild detergent. For best results, gently spot clean with a damp cloth for small messes. Air dry flat—avoid machine washing to preserve the print quality and backing integrity.
Nope! We use advanced HD sublimation printing technology that bonds the ink directly into the fibers. Your design stays vibrant and won't crack, peel, or fade with regular use. It's also UV-resistant to handle everyday light exposure.
Great news—our rugs work beautifully on virtually any floor type! Hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, concrete, even low-pile carpet. The non-slip backing keeps everything secure without scratching or damaging your floors.
The main difference is in the surface texture. Standard Level features a shiny velvet fabric on top—smooth, lustrous, and perfect for showcasing vibrant prints. Premium Level has a soft plush surface that feels incredibly cozy underfoot. Both have the same quality backing and durability, it's all about your texture preference!
We ship worldwide! Most orders are produced within 1-3 business days and delivered in 5-12 days depending on your location. You'll receive tracking info via email so you can follow your rug's journey.
In Detail
Product Description
An antique-style world atlas fills this vintage round rug edge to edge, with four tall ships sailing the oceans and a compass rose floating in the southern seas. Every continent is shaded in sage and sand, and the whole chart is laid out for the circle, so the globe never looks cropped.
A circle changes how a map reads on the floor. Instead of a rectangle with corners to trip over, you get a small planet at your feet, which softens a boxy room and sits comfortably under a desk chair, in front of an armchair or beside a reading lamp. Chair wheels glide across it without catching.
The Design: Sea-Glass Atlas Ring
The palette is calm and weathered. Oceans are a pale sea-glass blue-green with faint watercolor mottling, while the land moves from sage green to dusty sand, with darker shading picking out the mountain ranges of the Americas and Asia. Thin lines of latitude and longitude cross the whole surface like an old surveyor's grid. Four wooden sailing ships with cream sails dot the water, each with a few small wave marks beneath its hull. Browse our abstract and modern rugs for coordinating designs.
Two details give the piece its character. A navy and gold compass rose sits just below Africa, its long points reaching toward the grid lines. Around the edge runs a navy band twisted with cream rope and studded with gold dots, like the rail of a ship. Most world-map rugs lean on bright flat color, but this one relies on aged ink and faded paper tones, which is why it feels like a page lifted from a captain's chart room.
World Map on the Floor
The rug is cut as a true circle with a soft plush low-pile surface that feels gentle underfoot. Underneath, a non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors such as wood, tile and laminate. It is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air-dried, so a spilled coffee at the desk is not a disaster. The print is dye-sublimation, which sets the colors into the fibers instead of leaving them on top, and that keeps the fine grid lines and tiny ships crisp.
In a study or home office it works as a round area rug under the desk. In a hallway, den or reading corner, the smaller sizes make a quiet accent rug. A circle rug like this also pairs well with square furniture, since the curve breaks up all those straight edges.
Sizes & Rug Level
There are six diameters, from 80 cm (31.5″) up to 180 cm (70.9″): 80, 100, 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm. The 80 and 100 cm sizes suit the space under a desk chair or beside a bed. At 120 and 140 cm the map fits a reading nook, a globe shelf corner or a kids' corner, with the ships still easy to spot. The 160 and 180 cm sizes can anchor a seating area as a living room rug, where the whole world spreads out beneath the coffee table.
Two quality levels are available. Standart Level is solid everyday quality for desks, hallways and bedrooms. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing, a good choice for spots where chairs move daily.
Quick Questions
Is it machine washable?
Yes. Wash it on a gentle cold cycle and let it air-dry, and the map keeps its faded blues and sandy greens.
Does it slip on hard floors?
No. The rubber backing grips wood, tile and laminate, so the compass stays centered even when a desk chair rolls over the edge.
Can I put it over carpet?
Yes, it lies flat over low-pile carpet. Over thick, deep carpet the edge may ripple a little, so a low-pile base works best.
Which size should I choose?
Pick 80 to 100 cm for a desk or bedside, and 160 to 180 cm when you want the full map and every ship visible from across the room.
