Animals Mouse Pads

An animal mouse pad is one of the easiest ways to make a desk feel less like a workstation and more like your own space, and this collection is built around original artwork of cats, tigers, a horse and even an octopus. Most of the twelve designs are cats, so if you are searching for a cat mouse pad, you will find ginger cats, kittens and art-inspired cat scenes here. Every mat is made to order in the size you choose, from a small mouse pad for a laptop bag up to long keyboard mats, a full desk mat that covers your whole workspace and even a chair mat for the floor below your seat.

All sizes share the same build: a smooth woven cloth top, stitched edges that resist fraying and a non-slip natural rubber base that keeps the mat in place. Below you will find every design grouped by style, a size guide in inches and centimeters, an explanation of how the surface performs for gaming and office work, desk setup ideas, care instructions and answers to common questions.

Animal and Cat Mouse Pad Designs in the Collection

The designs here are illustrations rather than wildlife photos. Several borrow the look of classic art, from tapestry and stained glass to Japanese floral prints and Renaissance painting, while others are softer, cozier or simply playful. That variety makes it easy to match a mat to your desk, whether your setup is dark and moody or bright and minimal.

Ginger Cats and Kittens

Three designs focus on warm, friendly cats. The Ginger Cat Daydream design has the relaxed, dreamy mood its name suggests, a good fit if you want something calm to look at between tasks. The Ginger Cat Butterfly design pairs an orange cat with a butterfly, a light and cheerful scene that brightens a plain white or wooden desk. The Sunny Kitten Anime design is drawn in an anime style with a sunny feel, so it suits fans of illustrated, animated art as much as cat lovers.

If you share your home with an orange cat, these three are the obvious place to start. They also make thoughtful gifts for a friend who talks about their cat more than anything else.

Art-Inspired Cat Mouse Pads

Four designs bring cats into the world of fine art and decorative pattern. The Rose Window Cat design draws on the circular stained-glass windows of old cathedrals, giving a cat portrait a jewel-toned, ornamental frame. The Pond Cat Waterlily design moves the scene outdoors, to a pond with water lilies, and has the soft, painterly feel of an impressionist garden. The Creation Cat Art design is a playful Renaissance-style piece, a cat-themed nod to one of the most famous fresco scenes in art history.

The Tuxedo Bloom Pattern design takes a different approach: a black-and-white tuxedo cat set among flowers in a repeating pattern. Pattern designs are practical on a desk, because there is no single focal point to hide under your keyboard, so the mat still looks complete with everything on top of it.

Catzilla: The Playful Pick

Not every cat mouse pad needs to be serene. The Catzilla City Roar design imagines a giant cat towering over a city like a movie monster. It is the most humorous design in the collection, and it works well on a gaming desk or as a gift for anyone whose cat behaves like it owns the whole apartment. Wide sizes such as XL, XXXL or XXXXL give the city skyline room to stretch.

Tigers, a Horse and an Octopus

Beyond house cats, the collection includes two tigers. The Jungle Tiger Watch design places a watchful tiger in a jungle setting, while the Tiger Gaze Ember design, as its name suggests, centers on a tiger's gaze with warm, ember-like tones. Both suit darker setups where a bold animal portrait can be the centerpiece.

The Royal Horse Tapestry design is drawn in the style of a woven tapestry, with an elegant, old-world look that fits a home office, a library corner or a desk with wood and brass accents. Finally, the Octopus Waves design blends an octopus with waves and flowers in a Japanese-inspired style, a great option if you love ocean art or traditional woodblock-style prints. If the floral side of Octopus Waves appeals to you, our Flower Pattern mouse pads focus entirely on blooms and botanical prints.

Animal Mouse Pad Sizes

Every design in the collection is available in all of the sizes below, from a compact mouse pad up to large chair mats.

A quick guide to choosing:

• Mouse only, or a mat for travel: S slips into a laptop bag and gives a mouse all the room it needs.
• Mouse plus a small keyboard: M or L. Both are long and narrow, and L leaves more room for wide swipes.
• Full keyboard and mouse: XL or XXL. Choose XXL if your desk is deep or you like resting your forearms on the mat.
• Whole-desk coverage: XXXL or XXXXL, which show off pattern designs and wide scenes best.
• Card games: the TCG Mat at 14 x 24 in gives you a dedicated play area.
• Under your chair: the chair mats at 80 x 120, 100 x 150 and 120 x 180 cm go under a desk chair on hard floors.

Before ordering, measure the width and depth of your desk and leave a few centimeters of margin on each side so the mat lies flat and does not hang over the edge.

Surface and Build

• Surface: micro-woven polyester cloth, smooth and optimized for all DPI and sensitivity settings; works with laser and optical mice.
• Base: 3 mm natural rubber with a non-slip textured grip that stays in place.
• Edges: precision-stitched, anti-fray borders.
• Print: high-definition, fade-resistant print.

Here is what that means day to day. If you play FPS games at a low DPI, your whole arm moves across the mat, and an even woven surface gives the same glide on every long swipe. At a higher DPI, typical for MMOs, RPGs and strategy games, your hand barely moves, and a consistent weave helps the sensor register small corrections precisely. For office work, such as email, spreadsheets or photo editing, the cloth gives steady tracking and a softer surface for your wrist, while the rubber base keeps the mat from shifting when you reach for your keyboard. And if a cat likes to nap on your desk, the textured base helps the mat stay put when it jumps on or off. The stitched border also protects the front edge, where your wrist rests and where unfinished mats tend to wear first.

Desk Setup Ideas

A Cozy Cat Lover's Workspace

Pair the Ginger Cat Daydream or Pond Cat Waterlily design on an XL mat with a warm desk lamp, a plant and a mug. The soft colors keep the desk relaxed during long work hours, and a cat mouse pad is a small, cheerful touch you will notice every time you reach for your mouse.

A Bold Gaming Battlestation

For a darker setup, the Tiger Gaze Ember or Catzilla City Roar design on an XXL or XXXL mat becomes the centerpiece of the desk. Warm or orange accent lighting picks up the colors of the artwork and looks great on camera if you stream. Prefer bold color without an animal? Our Abstract mouse pads bring the same warmth in swirls and waves.

An Art-Lover's Study or a Gift

The Royal Horse Tapestry, Rose Window Cat and Creation Cat Art designs suit a classic study with books and wood furniture. Any of the cat designs also makes an easy gift for a pet owner; if you are unsure of their desk size, XL is a safe middle ground. Our Marble Pattern mouse pads suit an even quieter study.

How to Care for Your Mouse Pad

• Wipe spots with a damp cloth.
• For a deeper clean, the mat can be washed, including on a gentle machine cycle with cold or lukewarm water and mild detergent.
• Air dry flat.
• No bleach, no tumble dryer, and do not iron the print.

Pet hair tends to cling to cloth, so a lint roller or a quick wipe with a slightly damp cloth is the easiest way to keep the surface clean between washes.

Production and Shipping

Every mat is made to order after you check out. Production takes 1 to 3 business days, shipping takes 2 to 5 business days, and tracking details arrive by email. For questions about returns, see our returns policy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which animal mouse pad is best for a busy desk?

The Tuxedo Bloom Pattern design is the most forgiving, because the repeating pattern looks complete even with a keyboard, notebook and mouse on top. Scenes with one main animal look best on sizes that keep the animal visible beside your mouse.

What size should I choose?

S works for a mouse on its own, M or L for a mouse and a small keyboard, XL or XXL for a full keyboard and mouse, and XXXL or XXXXL if you want the whole desk covered.

Can I wash my mouse pad?

Yes. Wipe small marks with a damp cloth, or wash the mat on a gentle machine cycle in cold or lukewarm water with mild detergent. Let it air dry flat and skip the tumble dryer.

Does it work with my mouse?

Yes. The micro-woven cloth surface is optimized for all DPI and sensitivity settings and works with both laser and optical mice.

Can I get a mouse pad with my own pet on it?

Yes. If you would rather see your own cat or dog on your desk, use our custom option and upload a photo of your pet instead of choosing a ready-made design.
