My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

In Detail
Product Description
A rainbow-winged bird soars over a sea of billowing clouds on this rainbow phoenix mouse pad, its long gold tail trailing above pagoda rooftops while sunbeams cut through a stormy sky. As a wider rainbow phoenix desk mat, the scene opens up even more: purple, pink and orange cloudbanks, a black upper sky and streaks of gold light layered in loose watercolor.
If you like color that feels hopeful rather than loud, this is a strong pick. It brightens a plain workstation, and the calmer white clouds along the bottom give your keyboard a quiet place to sit.
A sunrise above the clouds
Few motifs in Chinese painting carry as much warmth as the phoenix at dawn. The bird has stood for grace, good fortune and harmony for centuries, and showing it above temple roofs ties that blessing to the world below. In this artwork the magic is the light: candy-pink and deep purple cloud layers stack up, gold rays slice diagonally across the frame, and the jewel-toned wings seem to hold every color in the sky at once. You rise with the bird, trace the golden tail downward and finally rest on the pagodas peeking through the mist. It is the kind of image that rewards a second look during a long workday.
Sizing your rainbow phoenix mouse pad or desk mat
- TCG Mat (14″ × 24″): a mid-sized surface for mouse work or card games.
- M and L (11.8″ deep): slim strips that fit keyboard and mouse on a shallow desk.
- XL to XXXXL: a full rainbow phoenix desk mat with the whole cloud sea visible.
- Chair mats: protection for hard floors beneath a rolling chair.
What the mat is made of
On top sits a micro-woven polyester cloth with an even, smooth glide that suits both optical and laser sensors. A 3 mm natural rubber base keeps the rainbow phoenix desk mat from wandering, and the precision-stitched edge holds the outline neat. The HD print is fade-resistant, which matters for a palette this saturated.
Everyday smudges come off with a damp cloth. When your rainbow phoenix mouse pad needs a full refresh, run a gentle machine wash in cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent, then let it air dry flat. Keep it away from bleach and tumble dryers, and do not iron over the artwork. We make it to order: 1–3 business days in production, then 2–5 business days of shipping.
Explore more painted skies among our artwork desk mats, compare styles across all decorative mouse pads, or carry the color down to the floor with modern area rugs.
