Product Description
This Berserk round rug is built around the Dragonslayer, a slab of dark iron standing upright before a pale full moon. A crossbow lies slanted across the same night sky of ragged cloud and eight-point stars, and the whole scene is laid out for the circle inside a scalloped red and gold medallion. The palette stays low and moody: charcoal, oxblood, tarnished gold, and one cold glow of moon.
A circle does something a rectangle never manages. It softens the corners of a boxy room and pulls the eye straight to the center, which is exactly where the sword sits. Slide it under a desk and it becomes a calm dark island for your chair; set it beside a bed and it is the first thing your feet find in the morning.
The Design: Moonlit Iron Medallion
Most Berserk art thrives on chaos. This piece goes the other way and borrows the order of an old carpet: a central medallion, mirrored vines, and an outer band that repeats its motifs like a prayer. Around the moon, curling gold foliage on black holds small objects in matched pairs, with gauntlets left and right, tattered capes on the diagonals, dark iron orbs and two bonfires at top and bottom. The border alternates blades, crossbows and red star rosettes. An ink-wash texture makes everything look weathered, as if the rug had been dug out of a ruined hall. If the mood appeals, more Berserk rugs in the catalog take very different angles on the same world.
Dragonslayer on the Floor
The surface is a soft plush low-pile that feels good underfoot and keeps the black areas deep and even. Underneath, a non-slip rubber backing grips hard floors, so the rug stays where you put it. Cleaning is easy because every rug is machine washable: gentle cold cycle, then air-dry. The print is dye-sublimation, which sets the colors into the fibers instead of leaving a layer on top. Under a desk or gaming chair it works as a chair mat for the whole setup. Use it in a den as a round area rug and the border ring frames the furniture around it. As a gaming room rug it gives a dark corner a clear focal point. The smaller diameters make a handy accent rug beside a bed or sofa.
