My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

In Detail
Product Description
This Unit-01 inferno mouse pad shows Evangelion's horned mecha tearing upward through a wall of fire, head thrown back, its purple-and-green armor lit hot by roaring orange flame. As a Unit-01 inferno desk mat, the scene burns brightest at the center and cools into smoky reds toward the edges, with ribbons of red and gold swirling around bold comic-style ink lines.
This is for fans who prefer the raw, frightening side of the EVA over clean promotional poses. The heat-colored palette also suits setups built around warm orange and red tones, and a Unit-01 inferno mouse pad gives a plain black desk an instant focal point.
Berserk energy on a Unit-01 inferno mouse pad
When Unit-01 goes berserk, it stops behaving like a tool and starts acting like a living creature, and those scenes rank among the most unsettling in anime. The painterly treatment here, with splatter, streaks and a rhythm that recalls traditional woodblock prints, leans into that feral quality instead of polishing it away. It is less a technical mecha diagram and more a portrait of rage, which is exactly how many viewers remember those moments.
Choosing a Unit-01 inferno desk mat size
- TCG Mat (14″ × 24″) for card play or a small mouse-and-keypad setup.
- M (11.8″ × 27.6″) for a narrow strip under keyboard and mouse.
- XL (15.7″ × 35.4″) where the centered blaze has space to stand out.
- XXXXL (23.6″ × 47.2″) to set the entire desktop alight.
How the inferno mat is built
The face is micro-woven polyester cloth, smooth to the touch and easy for both optical and laser mice to read. A 3 mm natural rubber backing stops the mat from wandering, its edges are finished with precision stitching that keeps fraying away, and the HD print holds up against fading so the orange flames on your Unit-01 inferno desk mat stay hot.
Whenever something spills on the flames, spot-clean it with a damp cloth. For a full wash, pick a gentle program, cold or lukewarm, and add only mild detergent; then leave the mat lying flat to air dry, with bleach, the dryer and the iron kept well away. Each inferno mat is made to order over 1–3 business days and then shipped within 2–5 business days.
