My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

In Detail
Product Description
A proud lion emblem crowns a field of bold scarlet on this Gryffindor mouse pad, framed by ornate golden damask that runs around the edges. As a Gryffindor desk mat, the red-and-gold palette stretches across your whole workspace and gives it a warm, regal look that any member of the house will recognize at once.
This Gryffindor mouse pad is for students, gamers and longtime readers who were sorted into the house of the brave, whether by a hat or by an online quiz. A friend who still wears red and gold every year would love it as a gift.
House pride on a Gryffindor mouse pad
Gryffindor stands for courage, daring and a stubborn kind of loyalty, and its lion has become one of the best-known emblems of the wizarding world. Fans tend to adopt their house colors for life, from scarves to notebooks. This design keeps things classic rather than cartoonish: a single lion emblem, a strong scarlet center and gold damask that recalls the trim on an old common-room banner. The result looks at home in a gaming setup and just as fitting on a desk used for coursework.
Gryffindor desk mat sizes
- S (11.8″ × 15.7″): the lion at its most compact, for mouse work alone.
- L (11.8″ × 31.5″): keyboard and mouse sit side by side.
- XXXXL (23.6″ × 47.2″): scarlet and gold across nearly the entire desk.
- Chair mat S: 31.5″ × 47.2″, sized for a desk chair on hard floors in a smaller room.
How the mat holds up
The top layer is micro-woven polyester cloth, giving optical and laser mice a smooth path with consistent tracking. Beneath it, 3 mm of natural rubber keeps a steady grip on the desk. Every edge is sealed with precision stitching to prevent fraying, and the HD fade-resistant print keeps the reds deep and the golds bright on your Gryffindor desk mat.
Light spots come away with a damp cloth. For a thorough clean, choose the gentle program on your machine, cold or lukewarm, and add only mild detergent; then let it dry lying flat in open air. Keep it away from bleach and the dryer, and do not iron over the lion. Since we make it to order, plan on 1–3 business days of production plus 2–5 business days of shipping.
