Rengoku stands dead center with both hands resting on the hilt of his flame-patterned sword, grinning as if he just heard the best news of his week. This Demon Slayer round rug wraps him in swirling fire scrolls on a warm cream ground, and every ornament is laid out for the circle, from the flame border at the rim to the crest at the bottom.
A circle softens a square room in a way a rectangle never will. It sits under a desk chair as a roomy chair mat, fills the gap beside a bed, or anchors a shelf of figures and manga volumes in a fan corner.
The Design: Flame Hashira Medallions
The artwork reads like an illuminated manuscript built around one character. Rengoku's white haori trails into red and gold flames, and those flames keep curling outward into mirrored scrollwork on both sides of him. Around the figure, eight framed medallions tell his story in small pictures: the steam locomotive of the Mugen Train appears four times, each puffing a little cloud, and bento boxes sit in the diagonal frames between them. Sweet potatoes, curved blades and rising-sun discs fill the remaining slots, so fans of the Flame Hashira will spot something new each time they look down.
The palette stays disciplined. Cream and pale gold carry the background, crimson and burnt orange drive the fire, and the black uniform gives the center a strong anchor. Little maple-star leaves are scattered through the gaps. A double gold ring and a rim of leaping flames close the whole thing off like a frame.
