Anime & Manga Rugs

An anime rug turns the floor of your room into one more panel of the stories you love, whether that is Gojo opening his Infinite Void, the Survey Corps wings or a Charizard cut out to its own silhouette. Our anime and manga rugs collection holds more than 550 original fan-inspired designs from over 40 series, from long-running favorites like Pokémon, Naruto, One Piece and Dragon Ball to dark seinen classics like Berserk and Vagabond and newer hits like Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man and Dandadan.

Every rug is printed to order once you check out. Most designs come in five sizes from 2 x 3 ft to 5 x 7 ft, and more than 100 shaped rugs are cut to the outline of the character instead of a rectangle. You can choose the Standard Level, a smooth 5 mm velvet surface that makes linework and color pop and lets a desk chair roll freely, or the Premium Level, a cushioned 7 mm plush for bedrooms and floor lounging. Both have a non-slip backing, so the rug stays put on hardwood, tile or low-pile carpet.

Below you will find a tour of the collection by series and mood, a practical guide to choosing the right anime area rug for your room, a size table and everything you need to know about quality, care and shipping.

What You'll Find in Our Anime Rugs Collection

The designs range from full-color character portraits to ink-wash scenes, tarot-card layouts and simple emblems that only fellow fans will recognize. Here is how the collection breaks down.

Pokémon Rugs

Pokémon is the biggest group in the anime collection, with more than 150 designs. The rectangular rugs include the Charizard Dragon Flame Rug, the Mewtwo Psychic DNA Rug, the Rayquaza Celestial Meteor Rug and the Eevee Elemental Evolution Rug, along with Eeveelution pieces like the Jolteon Thunder Storm Rug and the Espeon Mystic Sun Rug. Lighter options such as the Jigglypuff Lullaby Song Rug and the Psyduck Confused Splash Rug suit kids' rooms, while the Team Rocket Trio Villain Rug, the Greninja Water Shuriken Stealth Rug and the Blastoise Hydro Cannon Industrial Rug bring more attitude.

Pokémon also makes up a large share of the shaped designs. The Game Boy Charizard Rug, the Pikachu Cartridge Rug and the Lugia Game Boy Rug pay tribute to the handheld era, while the Sitting Sylveon Rug, the Ribbon Sylveon Rug, the Sitting Piplup Rug, the Headache Psyduck Rug and the Mew Rug are cut around softer poses. Bigger silhouettes like the Roaring Garchomp Rug, the Crowned Venusaur Rug and the Coiled Milotic Rug make a real statement on the floor. Trainers who want the whole roster should head to our Pokémon rugs collection.

Shonen Battle Classics

The big shonen series are well represented. Naruto fans can choose the Akatsuki Cloud Rug, the Itachi Uchiha Red Moon Crow Rug, the Yellow Flash Minato Rug or the Sakura Haruno Cherry Blossom Rug. One Piece designs include the Gear 5 Night Storm Rug, the Straw Hat Jolly Roger Rug, the Tony Tony Chopper Sakura Rug and the shaped Luffy Peek Rug, and Dragon Ball fans can summon the Shenron Eternal Dragon Rug or the Emperor of the Universe Rug.

Bleach is covered by the Ichigo Mugetsu Ink Wash Rug, the Ichigo Vasto Lorde Hollow Mask Rug and the Transcendent Aizen Butterfly Rug. Black Clover brings the Asta Black Form Rug and the Liebe Devil Form Gothic Rug, Fairy Tail has the Erza Scarlet Heaven's Wheel Rug and Hunter x Hunter has the Kurapika Scarlet Vengeance Rug. Duelists will find Yu-Gi-Oh! designs such as the Blue-Eyes White Dragon Storm Rug, the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon Fusion Rug, the Seto Kaiba White Suit Rug and the Téa Gardner Friendship Floral Rug.

New-Generation Hits

Recent favorites have their own corner. Jujutsu Kaisen designs include the Gojo Satoru Infinite Void Rug, the Yuta Okkotsu Pure Love Rug and the Nobara Kugisaki Resonance Rug. Demon Slayer fans can pick the Kyojuro Rengoku Flame Aura Rug or a shaped Tanjiro Kamado Rug, and Chainsaw Man brings the Denji Chainsaw Vroom Battle Rug and the Reze Bomb Girl Fireworks Rug. You will also find the Loid Forger Twilight Spy Rug from Spy x Family, the Cha Hae-In Radiant Swords Rug from Solo Leveling, the Okarun Turbo Mode Rug from Dandadan, the Kafka Hibino Kaiju Form Blast Rug from Kaiju No. 8, the Dabi Blue Flame Rug from My Hero Academia and the Kageyama King of the Court Rug from Haikyuu!! One Punch Man fans get both the Saitama Serious Impact Rug and the Tatsumaki Psychic Tornado Rug.

Dark Fantasy and Seinen Rugs

Berserk has one of the deepest ranges in the collection, with more than 20 designs. The Guts & Griffith Eclipse Duel Rug, the Void God Hand Eclipse Rug and the Skull Knight Harbinger Rug capture the series at its most intense, while the Griffith White Hawk Tarot Rug and the Griffith White Hawk Leader Rug show the Band of the Hawk at its height. Attack on Titan follows with the Levi Ackerman Action Rug, the Survey Corps Wings of Freedom Rug, the Female Titan Crystal Rug and The Basement Key Artifact Rug.

For quieter, more painterly pieces, the Vagabond designs, including the Miyamoto Musashi Enso Wave Rug and the Sasaki Kojiro Swallow Cut Rug, and the Vinland Saga designs, such as the Thorfinn Journey Rug and the Thorfinn Dual Daggers Rug, lean into ink and earth tones. Tokyo Ghoul (the Kaneki Ken Spider Lily Rug and the Juuzou Suzuya Scythe Rug), Death Note (the God of the New World Rug), Re:Zero (the Satella Unseen Hand Rug and the Subaru Natsuki Shadow Swirl Rug), Overlord (the Ainz Ooal Gown Sorcerer King Rug), JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (the Stone Mask Blood Sacrifice Rug and the Golden Stand Arrow Awakening Rug), Fullmetal Alchemist (the Flamel Symbol Crimson Alchemy Rug) and Soul Eater (the Maka Albarn Dual Scythe Rug) complete the darker side of the range.

Mecha, Sci-Fi and Cult Classic Rugs

Neon Genesis Evangelion has the Eva Unit-01 Berserk Mode Rug, the NERV Logo Classic Rug, the Asuka & Shinji Back-to-Back Rug and the Spear of Longinus Ancient Artifact Rug. Mecha fans can add the shaped V-Fin RX-78-2 Rug from Gundam, and Akira is represented by the Tetsuo Mutation Chaos Rug and the SOL Satellite Orbital Laser Rug. Classic 90s and 2000s series round out the group: the Jet Black Cybernetic Art Nouveau Rug from Cowboy Bebop, the Samurai Champloo Trio Journey Rug and the Momo Flying Rug, the Takumi AE86 Tofu Drift Rug and the Bunta Impreza Drift Rug from Initial D, and the Asuna Lightning Flash Rug and the Yui Digital Pixie Rug from Sword Art Online.

Magical Girl, Ghibli-Inspired and Soft Aesthetic Rugs

For a gentler look, the Sailor Moon Crystal Star Rug and the Black Lady Dark Crystal Rug bring pastel pinks and moonlit purples, and Cardcaptor Sakura fans can choose the Yue Moon Guardian Rug or the Tomoyo Director Rug. Princess Mononoke designs such as the Forest Spirit Moonlight Rug and the Kodama Forest Spirits Rug use calm greens and night blues, and they sit alongside the wider range of Studio Ghibli-inspired designs and kawaii designs that work well in bedrooms and nurseries.

Japanese Art and Streetwear Crossovers

Not every design follows a specific series. The Samurai Red Sun Rug and the Geisha & Golden Fans Rug draw on traditional Japanese art, and they suit anyone who loves the look of anime without wanting a character on the floor. A handful of designs also mix anime characters with bold street graphics; if that style is your thing, you will find more of it among our streetwear-inspired rugs.

How to Choose the Perfect Anime Rug

With this many designs, the hardest part is narrowing down. Start with the room and how you use it, then let the series and the art style decide.

Start With the Room and the Furniture

Measure the open floor and note where the bed, desk, sofa and shelves sit. Area rugs look best when they relate to furniture: tucked partly under the bed, centered in front of a sofa or covering the zone where your desk chair moves. Leave about 18 to 24 inches of bare floor between the rug and the walls so the room does not feel boxed in. If you plan to place the rug beside a bed, a 3.3 x 5 ft rug along one side works for most twin and full beds, while a 5 x 7 ft rug under the lower part of a bed frames the whole sleeping area.

Match the Art Style to the Mood You Want

Bright, full-color designs like Pokémon, Dragon Ball or One Piece energize a kids' room or game room. Dark seinen artwork such as Berserk, Tokyo Ghoul or Evangelion looks best in a room with black or charcoal furniture and low lighting. Ink-wash and tarot-style designs, like the Ichigo Mugetsu Ink Wash Rug or the Miyamoto Musashi Enso Wave Rug, read as art and fit minimal or Japandi-style rooms with natural wood. Emblem designs like the Akatsuki Cloud Rug or the NERV Logo Classic Rug are the subtle option if you share the room or want to keep the décor grown-up.

Pick Colors That Tie the Room Together

Pull one color from the rug and repeat it elsewhere: a red throw pillow with the Itachi design, a purple lamp with Eva Unit-01, an orange accent with Naruto. If your walls and bedding are already busy, choose a rug with a darker background or a single central character so the room does not feel cluttered. If the room is small or gets little daylight, lighter backgrounds keep it feeling open.

Desk Setups and Gaming Chairs

A lot of anime fans also game or draw at a desk, and the rug under your chair needs to handle wheels. Choose the Standard Level, whose flat 5 mm velvet surface lets casters roll smoothly on hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl or concrete, and pick a size that keeps every wheel on the rug when you roll back, usually 2.6 x 3.9 ft or larger. For more chair-friendly game art, our gaming rugs cover over 45 game franchises.

Kids' Rooms, Pets and Floor Lounging

For kids who play, read or watch shows on the floor, the Premium Level's cushioned 7 mm plush is the comfortable choice, and our non-toxic, skin-safe inks make the rugs suitable for kids' rooms and nurseries. Shaped Pokémon rugs are especially fun here because the outline itself becomes part of the play. With pets, the non-slip backing keeps the rug from sliding, and regular shaking or low-power vacuuming keeps hair under control.

Anime Rug Size Guide

Most anime rugs come in the five standard sizes below. Shaped designs have their own four sizes, explained after the table.

Placement by room: in front of a sofa, a 5 x 7 ft rug lets the front legs of the sofa rest on it and anchors the seating area. Beside a bed, a 3.3 x 5 ft rug gives you a soft first step without covering the whole floor. Under a desk chair, 2.6 x 3.9 ft is the starting point, and 4 x 6 ft is better for wide desks where you roll from side to side. A 2 x 3 ft rug in front of a display case turns your figure collection into a small shrine.

Shaped rugs come in four sizes and are cut to the outline of the artwork, so their exact dimensions depend on the design: some are close to square, some are wider and a few are tall and slim. Across the collection they range from about 60 x 90 cm (2 x 3 ft) up to about 160 x 180 cm (5.2 x 5.9 ft), with the tallest shapes reaching about 120 x 240 cm (3.9 x 7.9 ft). The exact sizes are listed on each product page. You can browse every silhouette design across all themes in our shaped rugs collection.

Standard vs Premium Anime Area Rugs

Both quality levels use the same print and the same artwork, so the difference is purely how the rug feels and where it works best.

• Standard Level: a lightweight 5 mm rug with a shiny velvet surface that shows color and fine linework clearly, which suits detailed manga-style art. It has a faux leather non-slip backing and is the recommended choice under a desk chair, because the wheels roll smoothly.
• Premium Level: a softer, cushioned 7 mm rug with a plush surface that is comfortable for sitting, kneeling and lying on the floor. It has a natural cotton anti-slip backing and is the better pick for bedrooms, living rooms and kids' rooms.

Printing, Materials and Safety

Each rug is printed with HD sublimation, which bonds the ink into the fibers rather than leaving it on top, so fine details like hair strands, eyes and speed lines stay sharp and the print will not crack or peel. The inks are UV-resistant for normal daylight, though long hours of strong direct sun are still best avoided. Reinforced stitched edges resist fraying and curling, and the non-slip backing works on hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, concrete and low-pile carpet. The inks are non-toxic and skin-safe, and the rugs are designed for indoor use only.

How to Care for Your Anime Rug

• Vacuum on a low setting or shake the rug out to remove dust.
• Blot spills quickly with a damp cloth; rubbing pushes them deeper.
• For a full clean, hand wash with cold water and a mild detergent, then air dry flat.
• Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals and tumble drying, and do not iron the printed surface.
• Rotate the rug occasionally to spread wear and light evenly.
• The rug ships folded; any creases relax within a few days of lying flat.

Shipping and Returns

Every anime rug is made to order. Most orders are produced within 1 to 3 business days and delivered in 5 to 12 days depending on your location, with tracking sent by email. Since each rug is printed specifically for your order, we accept returns within 14 days for shipping damage or a defect, but not for a change of mind.

Anime Rug FAQ

Are these official anime rugs?

No. These are original fan-inspired designs created by Padloom and printed on our own rugs. They are not affiliated with any anime studio, publisher or rights holder.

What size anime rug should I get for a bedroom?

Beside a bed, 3.3 x 5 ft is the most practical size. If you want the rug to frame the bed, choose 5 x 7 ft and place it under the lower part of the bed frame. In a small dorm room, 4 x 6 ft covers most of the open floor.

Do you have shaped anime rugs?

Yes. More than 100 designs, many of them Pokémon, are cut to the outline of the character. They come in four sizes, and the exact dimensions are on each product page.

Can I use an anime rug under a gaming chair?

Yes. Choose the Standard Level in 2.6 x 3.9 ft or larger on a hard floor. Its flat velvet surface lets the wheels roll smoothly and the faux leather backing keeps it in place.

How do I wash an anime rug?

By hand. Blot small spills with a damp cloth, and for a full clean hand wash in cold water with mild detergent and air dry flat. Do not tumble dry or use bleach.

Will the colors fade?

The print is bonded into the fibers with UV-resistant inks, so it holds up well to normal daylight. Avoid leaving it in strong direct sun for long periods, and rotate it occasionally.

Will the rug slip on a wooden floor?

No. Both levels have a non-slip backing that grips hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, concrete and low-pile carpet.
