Monkey D. Luffy Mouse Pads

A Monkey D. Luffy mouse pad is an easy way to bring the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates to your desk, and this collection gathers 28 original fan-inspired designs from the world of One Piece. Most of them put Luffy front and center, from the cartoon-like energy of Gear 5 to quieter scenes from his childhood by the sea, while others widen the view to his crew and the islands they have sailed through. Every mat is made to order in the size you choose, from a small mouse pad for a laptop bag up to a full desk mat, and chair mats in the same artwork are available as well.

The build is identical across the range: a smooth woven cloth top, stitched edges that resist fraying and a non-slip natural rubber base that keeps the mat steady during quick movements. Whether you want a Luffy mouse pad for a gaming setup or a long desk mat for work, the guide below walks you through every design, the sizes, the surface, care and the questions buyers ask most often. Luffy also has plenty of company in our anime character mouse pads, where favorite heroes from many series share one range.

Monkey D. Luffy Mouse Pad Designs in the Collection

Luffy's body stretches like rubber after he eats a Devil Fruit as a boy, and over the course of the story he finds new ways to push that power further, each one called a Gear. His straw hat, his grin and his promise to become King of the Pirates make him instantly recognizable. We have split the collection into four groups.

Luffy Gear 5: Nine Takes on His Most Playful Form

Gear 5 changes Luffy into a white-haired, laughing figure who bends the world around him like a cartoon, and it is the most represented form in this collection. Five titles share the Luffy Gear 5 name and add a subtitle that hints at the style. Comic Chaos, Pop Chaos and Toon Chaos lean into the bright, rubbery, comic-book look that defines the form. Wanted Legend combines Gear 5 with the idea of a pirate's bounty, and Thunder God, as its name suggests, brings lightning into the scene.

Four more Gear 5 artworks carry the One Piece name in their titles. Smiling Power puts his wide grin at the heart of the design, while the Power, Lightning and Battle versions each focus on a different side of the fight. Because the titles are close, it is worth comparing the product photos side by side; each one is a separate artwork with its own composition and colors.

Luffy Before and Beyond Gear 5

The One Piece Luffy Gear 4 design shows him in the earlier, heavily inflated power-up that many viewers first met in the middle of the story, and it is listed as a battle piece. Burning Resolve, Fire and Thunder and Ocean Fury are three standalone Luffy designs whose names point to intensity, elemental energy and the open sea.

The Luffy Wano Arc design takes its name from the long arc set in the samurai country of Wano, the stretch of the story where he faces some of his toughest battles. The Luffy Childhood design goes back to the beginning, to the young boy growing up by the ocean long before he set sail, and the Luffy Collage design brings several images together in a manga style that suits fans who enjoy reading the panels as much as watching the episodes.

Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew

Luffy rarely sails alone, and several designs reflect that. One Piece Luffy and Nami shows the captain with his navigator in a sailing theme. The One Piece Straw Hat Crew design and the Straw Hats Lineup design are group pieces, while Straw Hats Silhouette and Straw Hats Colors approach the crew in a more graphic way, built around outlines and color rather than a single scene.

The One Piece Wanted Posters design turns the crew's bounty posters into the artwork, a nod to one of the series' longest-running visual traditions.

The Wider World of One Piece

The remaining designs come from the wider series and do not name a single character in their titles. The Enies Lobby design takes its name from the judicial island at the center of one of the most celebrated arcs, and the Fishman Island design from the undersea kingdom the crew visits after their two-year separation. One Piece Film Z is named after the feature film of the same title, and One Piece Laughing Moon, listed as an anime gaming desk mat, rounds out the group. For artwork that goes beyond the captain himself, our One Piece mouse pads cover the wider series.

This collection also includes two Nami designs, Tangerine Dreams and One Piece Gold Manga. They center on the navigator rather than the captain and also appear in our Nami collection, so check their photos if you are specifically looking for Luffy.

Monkey D. Luffy Mouse Pad Sizes

Each of them comes in the same sizes, listed below in inches and centimeters.

Some quick guidance on choosing a size:

• Mouse only or travel: S is compact enough to carry in a backpack with a laptop.
• Mouse with a small keyboard: M or L. Both are long and slim, and L gives your mouse extra room for wider movements.
• Full keyboard and mouse: XL or XXL. Go for XXL on a deep desk or if you like to rest your forearms on the mat.
• Whole-desk coverage: XXXL or XXXXL let a busy design like Straw Hats Lineup or Luffy Collage spread across the entire desktop.
• Card games: the TCG Mat at 14 x 24 in is sized for a card game play area.
• Under a desk chair: chair mats in 80 x 120, 100 x 150 and 120 x 180 cm go under a rolling chair on hard floors.

Measure the width and depth of your desk before you order, and leave a few centimeters of margin so the mat sits flat without folding over the edge.

Surface and Build

• Surface: micro-woven polyester cloth, smooth and optimized for all DPI and sensitivity settings; works with laser and optical mice.
• Base: 3 mm natural rubber, a non-slip textured grip that stays in place.
• Edges: precision-stitched, anti-fray borders.
• Print: high-definition, fade-resistant print.

For gaming, this combination covers both ends of the spectrum. Low-DPI players in FPS games make long, sweeping arm movements, and a smooth cloth top gives the same glide across the full width of a large mat. MMO and strategy players often use higher DPI with small, exact movements, and an even surface helps the sensor pick up each one. For office work, the cloth makes everyday mouse use feel smooth and quiet, and the rubber base stops the mat from shifting when you type or lean on the desk.

Desk Setup Ideas for One Piece Fans

A Gear 5 Gaming Battlestation

Build a bright, playful setup around one of the Gear 5 designs, such as Toon Chaos or Thunder God, on an XL or XXL mat. White or light gray peripherals echo the form's colors, and a long mat keeps keyboard and mouse on one surface for marathon sessions. Fans of another long adventure about a boy chasing a big goal can also browse our Hunter x Hunter mouse pads.

A Captain's Desk for Work or Study

For a calmer desk, Luffy Childhood, Ocean Fury or Straw Hats Silhouette keep the sea and the crew in view without too much visual noise. An L or XL mat fits most home office and dorm desks and protects the surface from everyday wear.

A Stream Background or Gift

If your desk appears on camera, a busy ensemble design like Straw Hat Crew or Wanted Posters reads clearly in the background. These mats also make an easy gift for a One Piece fan; XL is the safest choice when you do not know the size of their desk.

Caring for Your Mouse Pad

• Wipe spots with a damp cloth.
• When it needs more, the mat can be washed, including on a gentle machine cycle in cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent.
• Air dry it flat.
• No bleach, no tumble dryer, and do not iron the print.
