My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

In Detail
Product Description
This Akira mouse pad drops you into Neo-Tokyo at its most explosive, with Kaneda's defiant stance and Tetsuo's haunting presence anchoring a collage of motorcycles, soldiers and collapsing order. Taken as an Akira desk mat, the dystopian scene spreads wide enough that every glance turns up another detail of the city on the edge.
It's built for cyberpunk fans, classic anime collectors, motorcycle lovers and people who like their desk with a little attitude.
Neo-Tokyo chaos on an Akira mouse pad
Few anime films have influenced as much as this one. Its neon streets, biker gangs and runaway psychic power shaped decades of cyberpunk stories, games and art that followed. At its core is a friendship torn apart, as Kaneda tries to reach Tetsuo before his growing power consumes everything around him. This design captures that tension as a dense, restless collage where the city itself feels like a character on the brink.
Choosing your Akira desk mat size
- TCG Mat, 14″ × 24″ (35.5×61 cm): a mid-size option for mouse work or a card game night.
- XL, 15.7″ × 35.4″ (40×90 cm): keyboard plus mouse on one continuous strip of Neo-Tokyo.
- XXL, 23.6″ × 35.4″ (60×90 cm): extra depth for a keyboard, mouse and a sketchbook.
- M Chair Mat, 39.4″ × 59.1″ (100×150 cm): sits beneath your desk chair to protect hard floors.
Built to survive the late shift
Micro-woven polyester cloth makes up the face of the mat, keeping optical and laser mice tracking smoothly. A 3 mm natural rubber base holds firm on the desk, and precision-stitched borders keep the edges from fraying. The crowded artwork is HD printed with fade-resistant inks.
Brush off dust and wipe small stains with a damp cloth. For a deeper clean, a gentle cycle in the washing machine with cold or lukewarm water and mild detergent works, followed by drying flat in open air. Skip the bleach, skip the dryer and keep irons off the print. It's made to order, so allow 1–3 business days for production and 2–5 business days for shipping.
