A closed black notebook rests at the center of this Death Note round rug, a quill laid across its cover and a single glossy red apple pressed against the corner. The whole piece is laid out for the circle: a cream medallion field ringed by a black border of hourglasses and feathers, so nothing gets cropped at the edge.
Round shapes behave differently from rectangles. They soften the square corners of a room, give a reading nook a clear center, and settle beside a bed without fighting the furniture. Tucked under a desk, this one works as a chair mat for a study or streaming corner.
The Design: Ink, Apple and Hourglass
Everything is mirrored around the notebook, which gives the artwork the calm of a heraldic crest rather than a busy poster.
