Puck, the mischievous elf from Berserk, floats at the middle of this Berserk round rug with a glossy chestnut hugged to his chest and a wide, open-mouthed grin. Around him, a vintage botanical frame of curling green vines, red-capped mushrooms, acorns and butterflies is laid out for the circle, repeating in four quarters across a cream, parchment-toned field.
A circle is kind to a room full of right angles. It rounds off a corner, settles under a desk chair without fighting the furniture, and gives a reading nook a clear center. This one is gentle enough for a bedside spot, yet detailed enough to anchor a whole seating area.
The Design: Storybook Woodland Ornament
Nothing else in the catalog looks like this. Instead of dark ink and battlefield grit, the artwork borrows the look of an old botanical plate: sage green scrollwork, soft pink blossoms, small gold stars and a faint foxed-paper texture over the cream ground. The elf sits inside a scalloped gold frame, wings pale mint and see-through, bare feet dangling. Four chestnuts in spiky green burrs mark the compass points.
