Product Description
Shinji stands at the middle of this Evangelion round rug, both hands wrapped around a cassette player while his earphone cords drift up through cream scrollwork. Around him the pattern turns like old Persian tilework, except the motifs are violins, tapes, music notes and four purple Unit-01 faces. Every ring is drawn for the circle, so nothing gets clipped at the edge.
A circle behaves differently from a rectangle on the floor. It softens the hard corners of a square room, tucks under a desk chair without fuss, and gives a bedside spot a calm center. This one has a quiet, listening mood, so it belongs where you actually sit still.
The Design: Tilework Meets Mixtape
The idea is a mixtape disguised as a palace ceiling. Shinji sits inside a scalloped medallion of dusty blue, with white earbuds looping down both sides and two small notes floating near his shoulders. Outside it, sage and violet vines climb across a cream field that looks gently aged, like a page pressed in a library book. Four Unit-01 heads sit in pointed arches at the compass points, with violins and cassette tapes filling the gaps between them. Clusters of burnt orange hexagons add the only warm accent. A navy border closes the circle, strung with more tapes, stars, lilies and notes. If you like this character-in-the-center layout, the rest of the Evangelion rugs goes in very different directions.

The rug is cut in a true circle, with a soft plush low-pile surface that feels gentle underfoot and keeps the fine linework crisp. A rubber backing grips hard floors, and the non-slip hold means the medallion stays centered where you set it. The print is dye-sublimation, so the colors are set into the fibers instead of sitting on top. Care is simple, because the rug is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air-dried. Standart Level is solid everyday quality, while Premium Level has a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing.
