Product Description
This Evangelion round rug builds its whole composition around a red lance on black, repeated eight times around a cream disc, and the artwork is laid out for the circle from the center to the rim. At the heart sits half a crimson leaf on pale parchment, the other half left blank. Around it, spears, crescent moons, faceted red crystals and eye-in-triangle seals march outward in a ring.
A circle softens a square room in a way a rectangle never does. Slide it under a desk and it works as a chair mat that keeps its shape while you swivel. Set it beside a bed and the medallion becomes the first thing you see in the morning.
The Design: Red Lance Medallion
Think inlaid marble or an illuminated manuscript rather than a poster. The ground is deep black, and the palette stays tight: blood red, burnt orange hexagons, antique gold scrollwork and one pool of cream in the middle. Gold filigree curls between the motifs like vines. The half leaf is the quiet detail, a single red shape cut cleanly down the center line, and it gives the piece a hush that louder Evangelion art lacks.
