My son is obsessed with Yu-gi-oh, and so we were both excited to find this rug - which isn't too over-the-top, but more of a subtle nod to his interests. The rug itself feels great. Very happy with the product!

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our custom area rugs.
Not at all! Both our Standard and Premium rugs feature anti-slip backing that grips securely on any surface. The Standard has faux leather backing, while the Premium uses natural cotton—both designed to stay put on hardwood, tile, laminate, or carpet.
Yes! Our rugs are hand-washable with cold water and mild detergent. For best results, gently spot clean with a damp cloth for small messes. Air dry flat—avoid machine washing to preserve the print quality and backing integrity.
Nope! We use advanced HD sublimation printing technology that bonds the ink directly into the fibers. Your design stays vibrant and won't crack, peel, or fade with regular use. It's also UV-resistant to handle everyday light exposure.
Great news—our rugs work beautifully on virtually any floor type! Hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, concrete, even low-pile carpet. The non-slip backing keeps everything secure without scratching or damaging your floors.
The main difference is in the surface texture. Standard Level features a shiny velvet fabric on top—smooth, lustrous, and perfect for showcasing vibrant prints. Premium Level has a soft plush surface that feels incredibly cozy underfoot. Both have the same quality backing and durability, it's all about your texture preference!
We ship worldwide! Most orders are produced within 1-3 business days and delivered in 5-12 days depending on your location. You'll receive tracking info via email so you can follow your rug's journey.
In Detail
Product Description
The Catbus stretches across the center of this Studio Ghibli round rug, grinning wide with its windows glowing amber against a deep navy night. Moons, paw prints and drifting stars repeat around the cat in rings, so the artwork is laid out for the circle instead of cropped from a rectangle.
A circle softens a square room in a way no rectangle can. Set it beside a bed, in a reading nook or under a desk, and the whole floor starts to feel like a quiet midnight stop on the route home.
The Design: A Night-Bus Carpet
Instead of a plain poster scene, the artist built the Catbus into the kind of ornate medallion you would expect on an old heirloom carpet. Gold scrollwork and tiny cream flowers curl across the navy field, while four full moons mark the compass points, each cradled in its own arched frame. Between them sit paw-print cartouches, and the little glowing creatures scattered through the vines look like they are following the bus. Dark umbrellas and slim bus-stop signs mirror each other on either side, small nods to the rainy wait every fan remembers.
The border shifts to forest green. Crescent moons, acorns and paw-print rosettes circle the edge like a woven frame, and the palette settles into navy, moss, honey gold and cream, with the Catbus's orange and brown stripes as the warmest spot. Fans who like this storybook-carpet look can find it again in more Studio Ghibli rugs across the shop.
Catbus on the Floor
Gentle underfoot, the soft plush low-pile surface invites bare feet, and the circular cut leaves no corners to catch a toe or fight a chair leg. A non-slip rubber backing grips hardwood, tile and laminate, so the Catbus stays exactly where you parked it. When a muddy paw or a spilled drink turns up, the rug is machine washable on a gentle cold cycle, then air-dry. The dye-sublimation print sets color into the fibers, which keeps that midnight navy deep and the gold linework crisp. It lies flat over low-pile carpet too. This works as a bedroom rug for a devoted Ghibli fan, though a playroom suits it just as well.
Sizes & Rug Level
Six diameters are available: 80 cm (31.5″), 100, 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm (70.9″). Under a desk, the 80 or 100 cm size works as a chair mat with far more personality than clear plastic. Beside a bed, 100 cm is plenty. For a reading nook or kids' corner, 120 to 140 cm gives the Catbus room to breathe, and at 160 to 180 cm the design becomes a round area rug that anchors a whole seating area. The smaller diameters also make a sweet accent rug in front of an armchair.
Standart Level is solid everyday quality. Premium Level adds a thicker, plusher pile and a more durable backing for busy spots.
Quick Questions
Is it machine washable?
Yes. Use a gentle cold cycle and air-dry it, and the Catbus keeps its warm orange stripes and deep blue night.
Does it slip on hard floors?
No. The rubber backing grips hard floors, so the bus stays parked where you put it even when a chair rolls past.
Can I put it over carpet?
Yes, it lies flat over low-pile carpet. The moon-and-paw border stays crisp against it.
Which size should I choose?
Pick 80 or 100 cm for a desk or bedside, 120 to 140 cm for a nook, and 160 to 180 cm if you want the full ring of moons visible around a sofa or bed.
